IPENZ National Events

IPENZ holds two significant national events each year.

The Pickering Public Lecture Series
Hosted annually around the country by selected IPENZ Branches, the lectures are free and open to the public, and cover a range of topical subjects.

Fellows' and Achievers' Dinner
This annual event is held to recognise IPENZ Members' technical achievements, contribution to the advancement of the profession and commitment to the Institution.

Technology Challenging Society Series
In the lead-up to the centenary, IPENZ will host a series of public panel discussions highlighting how technology continues to shape and challenge New Zealand. The members of each panel will reflect on how technology contributes to and impacts on sectors not commonly associated with engineering. The panel discussions will be moderated by Toby Manhire and recorded by Radio New Zealand. Entry is free.
