The Engineering Practice Support section provides processes, resources and procedure information for everyday engineering activities.

• Contract Documents encourages Members to follow a recognised professional practice in communicating with clients on commercial matters.
• The IPENZ Library leads to our specialist collection of technical material which is stored in the The EnergyInfo library.
• IPENZ Practice Reviews is an area where past practice review projects are collected.
• Useful Links provides sites of possible interest to engineers and those with an interest in engineering.
• Technical Groups provide programmes of activities and services associated with a particular engineering specialty or discipline.
• Complaining about an engineer provides advice and information on complaining about an engineer

IPENZ has an Engineering Practice Board which has been appointed for their knowledge of engineering practice. Collectively they cover all major practice area groupings (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, process, information and communication, management) and areas of employment (utilities/infrastructure, information technology, secondary industry).
