Training is available to all AECOM professional and support staff and involves the planning and implementation of training programs to achieve the career development objectives of our employees. We support the full range of training programs: practical, externally-facilitated, industry accredited, and internationally acknowledged.
We also have an established mentoring program, to provide our employees with professional and technical support - in person.

How we support the community :
Every year AECOM donates the use of its carparks to charity organisations during concert activities at the Auckland Domain. Charities sell our car parks at major events such as Christmas in the Park and Starlight Symphony to raise money.
AECOM has made outstanding contributions to the Women’s Refuge at Christmas. Over the past three years our employees have donated over 400 presents for women and their children who are being sheltered from family violence.
AECOM was a sponsor for the Bridging the Gap event, run by Ethnic Voice New Zealand. The event aimed to bring together youth from both New Zealand and a wide variety of ethnic communities, to continue to break down barriers and promote understanding among young New Zealanders.
AECOM has had an ongoing relationship with Oxfam and we actively encourage staff participation in Oxfam events. We are a repeat sponsor of their Nihotupu Tramline walk which raises money for the Water for Survival programme. We have also purchased Oxfam Christmas cards over the last three years, supporting and sustaining communities in need.
AECOM has also donated a company match for donations to selected disaster relief funds.
