Engineering Technology Practitioner - ETPract The Engineering Technology Practitioner (ETPract) register records Engineering Technologists who have successfully undertaken assessment in the last 5 years and demonstrated competence as an Engineering Technologist. The Engineering Technologist Practitioner register records names of engineering technologists who have demonstrated competence to the standard of reasonable engineering technologist practitioner, as set out in IPENZ regulations governing the administration of the ETPract register. These regulations cover assessment decisions, appeal procedures (including one of either a review of process or a review of the decision to decline and application) and a procedure for dealing with complaints and disciplinary actions. Applicants for ETPract registration must demonstrate they meet the competence standard for initial registration. Once registered, registrants must comply with the ETPract Code of Ethical Conduct, and undertake assessments at regular intervals (not exceeding 5 years) to remain on the ETPract register. Post nominals Registrants on the Engineering Technologist Practitioner register are able to use the ‘ETPract’ postnominal. |
