Design Verifiers – Overview

Design Verifiers under the Pressure Equipment Cranes Passenger Ropeways Regulation must hold current certificates of competence as issued by a Qualifications Issuing Agency.  IPENZ is a Qualifications Issuing Agency and has issued current certificates of competence to the following CPEng-registered Design Verifiers to perform design verification in one or more of the following equipment categories – Pressure Equipment, Cranes, and Passenger Ropeways.

Applications for Design Verifier are processed by IPENZ. Information on how to apply can be obtained by emailing the Registrar at IPENZ on registrar@ipenz.org.nz
